CURO PARK

Residential development in the village of Frogmore near St Albans

Curo Park is a housing development in Frogmore near St Albans, Herts. It is in a great location between Radlett and St Albans. It has good transport links being in between junction 21a and 22 of the M25 and close to junction 6 and junction 8 of the M1. There are 2 stations nearby, Park Street and How Wood on the Abbey Flyer line between St Albans Abbey and Watford with links to London Euston, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, the North West and Scotland. Radlett and St Albans Thameslink stations are both within an easy commute.

The site was formerly part of Radlett Aerodrome, home to the former aircraft manufacturer Handley Page until 1970 when the company went into liquidation. Some of the road names bear the legacy of this past life; Page Place, Frederick Place (after Frederick Handley Page), Avian Avenue and Centaurus Square (after the Bristol Centaurus aircraft engine).

Since then the location was also used as film studios, and the James Bond film, Tomorrow Never Dies was filmed on the studios on the site.
